Since the conception of Awrek'al Sessions, the question has been by many of you, "who is that beautiful woman in the picture"... She is Quan Yin, the Goddess and Bodhisattva of compassion and mercy, the embodiment of loving kindness. She is sometimes represented as a many armed woman, having 1000 hands to help and comfort those in need.
Quan Yin as a Bodhisattva (a true Enlightened One), vowed to remain in the earthly realms and not enter the heavenly worlds until all other living things have reached their own enlightenment. It is this similarity of her and the members of Awrek'al, that she is chosen and placed on our media... as we feel the same need to spread enlightenment with our music.
